Music Collecting Stories - continued

I am fortunate to have quite a few rare things in my collection. Still I know there are early records I know I will never have a chance to find such as e.g. Blu-Disc etc.

It is a bit tricky to buy 78s. Seller and buyer may have different opinions about the condition of the record. There is an established grading system which we all try to apply to but often the seller overgrades his record.

These days E-bay has become a new way of selling/purchasing records. I am not too fond of E-bay. On a few occasions I have bid but always find I have been overrun a few minutes before closing time. Moreover I find it a bit uncertain to deal with a seller I don't know who he is and consequently know nothing about.

Should there be anyone reading this and feels he has something of interest to offer me I would be more than pleased to hear from him.

Love you madly,

Bo Haufman, Stockholm, Sweden
